The Morality Campaign and Mass Education

Sri Sri Swami Swarupananda Paramhansa Dev, a visionary leader, championed the cause of character building and mass education. Initiating this movement in His early adolescence, He worked tirelessly for 60-65 years, independently promoting the cause.

This movement started in 1914 at Ghoramara Playground, Chandpur (now in Bangladesh).

Continued the work despite distractions, while others were engaged in movements like Swadeshi, Non-Cooperation, Quit India etc.

Formal Launch: 
Inaugurated the movement at Azad Hind Bagh, Calcutta (Now, Kolkata) on January 4, 1976 urging widespread participation.

Followers continue to spread the message across the world.
